The district is governed by a board of directors composed of:

• 6 Voting Members appointed by the Governor and confirmed by Senate

• 10 appointees of transportation planning organizations that have jurisdiction within the territory of the district as follows:

  • 4 appointees from each metropolitan planning organization (MPO) representing more than 1.5 million residents (DRCOG)

  • 4 appointees from each metropolitan planning organization (MPO) representing more than 500,000 residents (PPACG, NFRMPO) 

  • 1 appointee from PACOG 

  • 1 appointee from South Central COG
